Xi'an International Conference
| CAERDA will hold an international conference during June 27-29, 2014 in Xi´an, China. The theme of the conference is “American and Chinese education in a Global Context.” The conference will be a venue for colleagues in China and around the world to exchange research ideas and findings besides our annual conference in the United States. The online proposal submission system will close on February 28, 2014. Famed as the cradle of Chinese civilization, Xi´an not only served as China´s capital for over 1,000 years (including Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties), but also was the starting point of the legendary Silk Road for trade and cultural exchanges between the East and the West. Xi´an has countless historical and cultural attractions, including the renowned Terracotta Army for the First Emperor. It also has numerous K-12 schools, universities, and research institutions.
